De Bell Serter Deseyn Precess (The Evaluation)

•      Think about the outcome
•      We think the outcome will be successful
•       Does it meet the Design
       Brief?
Our design meets the requirements of the design brief
•       Does it satisfy the Evaluation Criteria?
•      We believe it will satisfy the criteria
•       How well does it work?
•      It works well enough that the balls can be sorted
•      Could it be improved?
•      With the finished design, it may not be possible to make any major changes to the artefact.
•       What remains to be done?

•      The only thing needed to be done is the submission of the artefact.

The image below is a sample of a ball sorter. The body got a complex design together with the tube. But due to the small hole of the tube, the ball sorter might not be 100% efficient and cause a malfunction of the artefact. The pingpong balls might push each other and the other pingpong balls might go to the other container.

De Bell Serter Deseyn Precess (Priorities and Criteria)

   TOP FIVE PRIORITIES:
1.            Stability
2.            Portability
3.            Hatch
4.            Net
5.            Ball Container
EVALUATION CRITERIA:
1.      Is it stable?
2.      Can it be transported easily?
3.      Does it work efficiently?
4.      How are the balls separated?

5.       How durable is the container?

De Bell Serter Deseyn Precess (CONSTRAINTS AND CONSIDERATIONS)

CONSTRAINTS AND CONSIDERATIONS:

To workout what you have to include in your design make a list of the Constraints and Considerations from the design brief in the table below. When you have filled in your constraints and considerations list number them in order of importance.

De Bell Serter Deseyn Precess (Design Brief)

Design Brief:
Design, make and fit a simple device that will sort table tennis balls and marbles. From an elevated bin, the balls and marbles should travel a lane or chute down to another container.
a.The  container or compartment  should have two partitions: one for the table tennis balls and the other for the marbles
b.Along the lane or chute, the balls and marbles should be able to sort until it reaches the compartment intended for each of them
c.The artefact should be made of cardboard, illustration board or chipboard
d.Containers(bin and compartment)should not exceed twenty (20) centimetres in length, width and height
e.Length of the lane or chute varies depending on the design

De Pert Twe (The Part Two)

There, we played as a team and fought every turtle and monkey in our path. As we fought through  the path for our return to the real world. We encountered the boss and a battle of proportions ensued. After 8 hours worth of Major League Gaming moves and health potions, we finally defeated the boss, but suddenly an old man appeared before us, a wise-looking man. He said "I have a final request for you humans, I, as the gatekeeper to your real world, request you to make me a ball sorter". After saying those words, the so-called gatekeeper vanished into thin air. Now our new adventure on making the ball sorter... BEGINS!!!

De Entredeksyen (ThE Introducshon)

Once upon a time, my friends and I played an addicting puzzle-inspired game.We played with our asses off from the first level onwards, but it seemed that we could not really beat the game. When we played the video game for the 305th time, it sucked us into its own universe......
